Emergency Management Antennas: General Dynamics and MP Antenna to Market Emergency Planning Tools

NORTH RIDGEVILLE, OH. October 11, 2010 – MP Antenna Ltd., a leading developer and manufacturer of Multi-Polarized antenna technology, and General Dynamics Information Technology a business unit of General Dynamics, have agreed to work together to market collaborative emergency planning and response tools to first-responder organizations across the country.

The two companies presently collaborate on joint application and identification of specific potential requirements for emergency planning, incident response, security management and situational awareness tools. The collaboration primarily involves the integration of Multi-Polarized antenna technology from MP Antenna with the PR2C Toolkit® from General Dynamics Information Technology.

Joint marketing activity will demonstrate the integration of modeling and simulation tools from General Dynamics Information Technology and MP Antenna’s enhanced antenna suite to support disaster preparation, disaster management and improved overall voice and data communication. “This cooperative effort illustrates the high functionality of MP Antenna’s Multi-Polarized antenna products – especially in demanding wireless applications targeted for the PR2C Toolkit®,” stated MP Antenna President and Chief Executive Officer Joe Bliss. “Our antenna’s ability to provide better obstructed signal penetration is a crucial element to total system performance in both actual emergency and situational training scenarios.”
